One of tonight's topics is a waste reduction initiative. This is something the committees have already been pursuing with their food scraps collection project. Now the Board of Trustees has asked SHEAC to recommend ways for the Village to reduce plastic waste and take additional steps to send less trash to the incinerator in Peekskill. Diverting trash from the incinerator means less air pollution and greater cost savings for the Village. We'd love to hear your ideas!
