Fourth of July Parade and Party

The much-loved annual PMIA/SHMA Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10am with a procession along Bellwood Avenue (gather at the corner of Bellwood and Highland), followed by several hours of DJ entertainment, games, hot dogs, drinks, ices, and cake at Peabody field.

Don't forget to decorate your bike or wagon for the parade and contests, and consider making a cake! Cake-decorating contest categories will be....(drum roll)

Funniest cake

Most unique cake

Most patriotic cake

We look forward to seeing your creations!

We're also looking for neighbors to help us make the celebration the best it can be. Volunteers are needed for:

1) setting up at Peabody field from 7:30am-8:30am
2) grilling hot dogs during the party
3) cleaning up at Peabody field from 1pm-1:30pm
